I have just had an email form the barefoot doctor which has made me think - there again he always makes me think in anything I read of his - if you have not read anything give him a try he is most enlightening.
All my clients are looking for purpose in their life - trying to find their true calling not religion but why they are here. I tend to work with people who think outside the box before they meet me they are questioning their life and what they give and get from living.
Michael Neill talks about sitting in a comfy chair and not getting out until you know what you truly want to do. He says you have to sit there and think about what gives you the WOW factor. Then when you know you focus plan and act to make it happen. Simple isn't it?
The point to this preamble is many of us are sitting at a job Monday morning hating every minute of it - but I would bet that not one of you thinks you have choice. You have - you decide to get out of bed, go through your routine, travel to work and stay in work until finishing time.
Oh yes you do no one forces you to get out of bed you do it.
Want to make change then think about it:
What do you want to do?
What is possible right now?
How can you plan towards your ultimate goal?
What is a realistic time plan?
Who can help you?
Who do you want to go with you?
Even if you think it is all a dream write it down in a book where you can look at it in tomorrow, in a week or months time. Give yourself hope and focus on what you truly want. You never ever know what might happen or who you might meet that could help you.
No one on their death bed said "I wish I had spent more time in the office" start to plan your memories now and move towards them.
If you ask "Why should it happen to me?" change this to "Why not me?"
